Bonalu is an annual festival of Telangana State and celebrated in Twin Cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad and other parts of Telangana. It is celebrated in the month of July/August, considered a thanksgiving to the Goddess for the fulfillment of vows.
Bonalu festival is celebrated every year at GPRM School where girl students brought the fully decorated traditional Bonam after draping themselves in sarees and half sarees reflecting the true Telangana culture while the boys are seen in Pothu Raju attire adding colours to the festivities.
